Conte feels fatigue has affected both midfielders after they featured for the Blues in the League Cup against Arsenal last week which reflected on their performance against Leicester City.
Asked about his decision to bring Hazard and Fabregas off, Conte told his post-match news conference: “I saw them and they were very tired.” Chelsea must prepare for the FA Cup match against Norwich City at the Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night after the first leg ended in a goalless draw.
