Drew Carey weight loss
Have you noticed the Drew Carey weight loss? It is a fantastic story of how Drew Carey lost nearly 80 pounds and it really shows as you can see in the picture here.
In an interview with CBS morning show about the Drew Carey weight loss and his new diet full of fresh fruit and veggies he said
“Nobody wants to do it because they think, ‘Oh, I could never give up whatever.’ But you know, you’re stressing your body out. I think better. I work better. I have more energy. I can get more done. Sex, sex life is better. I mean, everything improves.”
A revitalized Drew Carey isn’t done dropping weight just yet. His goal is to balance the scale at 170 pounds by November, a total loss of more than 90 pounds in 11 months.
Also as Drew Carey talked about his weight loss he said
“One of the blocks I’m having now is, I get so many compliments from people, like, ‘Hey, you look great.’ You know, girls are like, ‘Wow, you look, check you out!’ You know, when you’re hearing that every day, it’s hard to get up and think, ‘Wow, I gotta lose this last 15 pounds so I look good.’ Cause I’m already getting all these compliments and stuff. So that’s a big block for me now. I wish people would start callin’ me fat again so I could get that last 15 pounds off!”
The weight loss isn’t the only thing making Drew happy these days. Three years after taking over the reins of television’s longest continuously-running game show, he just enjoys coming to work every day.
He said, “It’s a real, you know, that whole stage, there’s such a positive life affirming energy there, that, you know, that stage — I really do– you can’t ignore the energy there when you walk in. And it’s all positive. And everybody there is happy. And they’re, like, screaming and happy and jumping up and down and joyous. And you can’t, it’s like being in a Pentecostal church. It really is. It’s like being at — you know, a really intense yoga class or something like that, where you can’t help but walk out with a glow, you know, of joy, because you were in this positive space. And that stage on that set, it’s just really positive space. And I’m the one that gets the most of it, you know, by being on there, and the cameramen. You know, and you can’t help but be changed by all that.”
I have to say that after watching him as a pudgy guy for years on TV show that I am simpley amazed with the Drew Carey weight loss, keep it up Drew!
Ok I am sure there will be people excited about this giant of a buger but is there really a need?
FAST food chain McDonald’s is launching a giant burger for the World Cup – flying in the face of its healthier food policy.
The burger will be 40 per cent bigger than a Big Mac and new president Steve Easterbrook admitted: “The emphasis has changed.
To celebrate the World Cup, that huge sporting event everyone in the world but the United States cares about, McDonald’s will be offering a special World Cup burger that will be forty percent larger than the normal Big Mac patty. At first I was impressed, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized it’s actually not that big of a deal. I’m going to assume that the Big Mac is roughly the same size in other countries as it is in the United States, which is to say, it’s not that big. I mean, the sandwich itself is big, once all the ingredients are stacked on, but the patty itself is rather small and flimsy.
McDonalds in Australia actually is offering a choice of the Brazil Burger as well as the Argentina burger (France burger is coming next…)

McDonalds World Cup Brazil Burger
“We are a burger business. Our traditional menu – hamburger, cheeseburger, Big Mac and chicken sandwich – is front and centre of our plans.
“Everybody loves a burger and there is nothing wrong with that.
“It’s time to be proud, to say ‘We’re a good burger company’.”
Three years ago McDonald’s adopted a healthier menu, including salads and fresh fruit, after bowing to pressure to encourage healthy eating, especially among youngsters. But only a small number of customers bought the products.McDonald has seen its revenue grow by 30 per cent in the US while sales in Britain have been flat since 2002 when the healthier menu was brought in.
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has blasted McDonald’s and wants burgers to carry the same health warnings as cigarettes.
He said: “We have got to start conveying a serious message about exactly how bad these foods are.”
I am personally a bit split about this subject. If people really want to eat this much burger that is there own fault. The trouble is that people love to try to sue companies for making them fat. On the other hand, society as a whole suffers because of people making very bad health decisions and eating these very bad foods.
