Sanchez looks like he set to finally get his wish in the winter transfer window with Gabriel Jesus out for two-month with a knee injury as the Premier League leaders are rumour of launching £20m for the Arsenal forward whose contract expires in the summer.
While there has been no official word from either club, De Bruyne appears confident Sanchez will become Manchester City player sooner or later. “When he comes he will add something to the team,” the Daily Mail quotes the Belgian as saying. “He’s a very good player. Obviously we will see what happens in this transfer period. We don’t have to take care about that anyway. “If a good player comes to us that is better, if he doesn’t come we do it with the team we have. We are on a good period already, the whole season.” Sanchez would not be able to play for Manchester City in the Carabao Cup as he played against Doncaster for Arsenal earlier in the season, but he is not cup-tied for the FA Cup and could also be added to Pep Guardiola’s Champions League squad.
