What to Eat To Lose Weight

What to Eat To Lose WeightWhat to Eat to lose weight?

I get this question all the time so I sent this email out to the members of my Get fit Now fitness list and thought that I would post it on the blog as I wanted to answer the question that I see a lot.

Anyway to get ready for Spring and getting out in shorts and a t-shirt many people think now about losing some weight. Trying to lose weight be it 10 pounds, 20 pounds or even 30 pounds or more can be difficult for you.

I know for a fact (from the emails I get all the time) that if you are finding that you are losing and gaining the same 20 pounds year after year that you are not alone.

The question that people just like you are always asking is:

“What to eat to lose weight?”

The answer that I keep giving time after time is to try out Fat Loss for Idiots.

What to Eat To Lose Weight

What to Eat To Lose Weight

You are probably wondering why I keep writing about fat loss for idiots and you do deserve an answer. Well I wrote an article a few years ago about this diet and was really surprised to find that lots of people were really successful with. First I was really surprised but after a while after 100′s of the same comments I realized why.

What to Eat to Lose Weight

  • The online “Diet Generator” asks you what you like and don’t like and then tells you exactly what to eat
  • The diet is high in fruit and even has a day dedicated to it
  • Fat Loss for Idiots uses Cycled Eating which means that you follow a diet for 11 days and then eat what you want for 3 before getting back on.

Online Diet Generator – The online generator is a 11 day diet where you answer what you like to eat and what you do not like to eat and it will generate a diet of exactly what to eat to lose weight.

High Fruit and Vegetable Diet – Again this is put right into the diet and will raise the amount of nutrients and water in your diet which will give you better energy and feel better about yourself.

Cycled Eating – Don’t you hate it when you are on a diet and don’t knwo exactly what to eat to lose weight so you keep eating the same thing day after day? Well this diet will give you different foods (although sometimes strange combinations) and after your 11 days you have a three day off cycle where you can eat whatever you want. This confuses your body and helps you lose weight easier.

Lots of people had the same problem of wondering what exactly to eat just like you and you can see in the comments to the post that I wrote that they have been very successful in losing weight.

One of the best things about this diet as well is the price. For $39 you get a lifetime membership. Super cheap, effective, and you can lose your weight before Spring if you start now. And look and feel fantastic for the Summer this year.

You can probably tell that I think this is Awesome. If you have any questions let me know. Also if you buy the diet just email me to let me know and I have a few exercise and fitness ebooks that I will send you as a thank you to help you jump start a newer lighter lifestyle.

I know that this is not the answer that some people are looking for but having a diet generator that will tell you exactly what to eat to lose weight is a big help in getting to your goals.

Zenergy Winner + Exercise Thoughts

It’s 10pm, but I picked a name for the Zenergy Powerballs! I just scrolled through the comments with my eyes closed and pointed my finger to Jessica from http://shortystylee.wordpress.com/. Just send me an email at tokenfatgirl(at)gmail.com and I’ll have those send out to you! Thanks for your oatmeal topping comments, I forgot about adding cinnamon!

I just finished day 12 in a row (except for sundays) of exercise and I have a few comments to make, in list form.

1) I feel a lot better physically. I have no clue what I weigh, but I feel good. My body is moving better, I just feel good.

2) It doesn’t get easier. It’s only been (almost) two weeks of consistent exercise and I’m still sweating and pushing myself as hard as I was on day one. This are getting slightly easier, my stretches are a tiny bit deeper and I’m moving better.

3) I still don’t want to exercise. It’s so shocking, right? I do not want to exercise. At all. Which makes me laugh because I think my whole life I was waiting to turn into someone who wanted to exercise. The truth of the matter is, she doesn’t exist. I don’t want to. I didn’t want to tonight. I didn’t want to yesterday or the day before. I’ve craved runs before, maybe twice, but I think coming to terms with the fact that there won’t be a day when the clouds part and I want to exercise. So knowing that- I just have to do it anyway.

4) I’m exercising even when the conditions aren’t perfect. Some days I’m really sore, other days I don’t exercise until 10pm, and occasionally I have to exercise before eating dinner or getting ready for the day. We don’t have a huge living room, but we still move the couch out of the way and push the coffee table aside. I write this as a reminder to myself: I can exercise even when the conditions aren’t perfect. They never will be. I don’t need a bigger living room, the right program, a gym membership, or the right shoes to exercise. I never did.

5) I’m still fat. Hey self, guess what? You’re still fat! And you thought all you’d have to do was a couple of weeks of hard exercise and you’d be done? Nope. I’m still wearing the same clothes as I did last month. And I’m okay with all of this. At least I’m writing it as a note to myself that it’s okay. I’m trusting my process. I’m trusting that I’m doing what I need to do to be a healthier person.

I am okay with who I am today as long as I am doing everything in my power to take care of myself. To be a healthy person today, for tomorrow. That’s all I can hope for. It’s okay that I’m still fat. This doesn’t happen in two weeks, or two months.

And on to fun stuff. I’m sure we all have lives and interests outside of our trying to be healthier selves and I’d like to here about what you’re into lately. What books you’re reading, or shows you’re watching or about your closet organization.

Here it what I’m into lately:

Grey’s Anatomy- I just finished season two and I’m shamefully hooked. It just didn’t seem like my kind of show, and now I find myself watching it late at night or early in the morning. Getting my fix of Meredith, Izzie and George.

Finishing up my Valentine’s jewelry line to come out early next week!

Genealogy: We had our DNA tested by 23andme.com (nope they didn’t pay me or ask me to write this) and just got the results this week. They tell you things like genetic diseases you’re prone to getting, ancestry and other tidbits like what color eyes your future kids will have (blue for us). These results propelled us to give ancestry.com a try and oh my lord it’s so fun. I’ve traced my mother’s dad’s line all the way back to the 800’s. Turns out I’m related to the King of Sweden on a direct line from my grandfather. I’ve wanted to do this since I was a kid, but never knew how to start. I may never sleep again, why sleep when I can find out that I’m related to royalty a thousand years ago?

Today Matters Most

Today Matters MostI wrote an email to the people that are signed up for my 10 days of fitness program last week talking about my struggles with getting things done this January.

What I wrote was that just like everyone else I was scrambling around trying to do everything and what I had to do instead, what we all have to do instead, is to FOCUS on just what matters.

So this last week has been better. I just thought I would write this followup to that saying that indeed when you get the focus, peel off those extraneous things, then you can know what you really want and what you have control over to succeed.

Have you done this yourself?

I had a little booklet that I was writing everything in that I needed to do and last week I was able to get that focus going but this week has been a lot better. I have just a few “have to do” things

  • Write articles – for this blog and others
  • Exercise and have a plan for that everyday
  • A plan for the evening
  • Updates on Facebook and Twitter for quick hits for fitness stuff

The biggest problem there is the businesses that seems to invade January. I have been busy during the day and I knwo that the kids will keep me busy in the evening so I have had to note that and try to just steal a bit of time in the evening to get done what I need.

Have you tried to structure your day?

The other big thing this week is that I have honed in my focus on things that I can actually do now. I can exercise now today but i can no gain 10 pounds of muscle or lose 10 pounds of fat today, those things come as a result of what I do today. Actually this very post I was thinking about today and this morning it will be posted and done with. One of my goals this next while is to write 100 articles in 100 days so I thought if I got a post in and up in the morning then I would have the rest of the day to get ideas or inspiration for more to write about to help YOU out.

I always feel like I am a work in progress but just getting these ideas out and refining my own crazy thinking process always helps me to get more done that I know has to get done.

How about you?
