Diego Costa enjoyed a goalscoring return to Atletico Madrid as he was on target in the second-half of their comfortable 4-0 Copa del Rey win at Lleida.

Spain striker Costa agreed a move back to Atletico from Premier League champions Chelsea in September but was unable to play for Diego Simeone’s side until the new year due to the club’s transfer ban.

The 29-year-old, who spent four years at Stamford Bridge before falling out with Blues boss Antonio Conte last summer, quickly made up for lost time as he grabbed Atletico’s third goal of the evening just five minutes after coming off the bench to replace Angel Correa in the 65th minute.

Aguero in a report via Goal.com says he has no idea what the White Hart Lane sensation is planning for the future, but believes the red-hot England international would succeed at Real Madrid.

“The truth is that players of this quality, I think they wouldn’t have a problem playing for such an important club as Real Madrid is.

“I don’t know what he is thinking but that’s not my problem, it’s his future.” Aguero told reporters

Kane is arguably the world’s finest goalscorer and scored 56 goals for club and country to eclipse Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi’s haul in 2017.

Inevitably there will be constant speculation over his future and The Daily Star reported recently that the Spanish giants are willing to offer Gareth Bale plus £150 million to sign him.
