BREAKING: Wenger charged by FA – FCNaija

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been charged following his conduct in the match officials’ changing room after Sunday’s Premier League game against West Brom, the Football Association has announced.

The Frenchman was furious after referee Mike Dean awarded the Baggies a controversial last-minute penalty to allow them to snatch a point at The Hawthorns

Wenger who has already advocated for the prompt use of Video Assistant Referees, VAR has until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge.

Super Eagles star happy to start 2018 with a bang! – FCNaija

The year 2017 was quite a bright one for Super Eagles star, Wilfred Ndidi but the year 2018 could be even better going by how the midfielder started out with his club, Leicester City in the Premier League.

DSIEC boss reiterates promise on trustworthy polls

CHAIRMAN  of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC, Chief Mike Ogbodu, has again given his word that the January 6 local government elections in the state will be free and fair.

Ogbodu, represented by DSIEC commissioner, Mrs. Light Diden gave the assurance at Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area of the state, while monitoring the ongoing training exercise of the commission’s ad-hoc staff in Koko.

His words, “The commission is adequately ready to conduct the forthcoming local government election, which will be free and fair, devoid of rancour and manipulation, January 6, 2018.”

Ogbodu urged Deltans to come out and vote for the candidates of their choice, appealing to the youth to shun any form of violence during and after the election.
