Real Madrid January target Kepa Arrizabalaga has passed a medical examination at the club but a date is not yet fixed for his move to Santiago Bernabeu, according to reports.

Arrizabalaga is now free to talk to suitors who are interested in his services due to being in the final six months of his contract with the La Liga, European and World Champions interested in bringing him to Bernabeu to help solve goalkeeping issue.

It is reported that Real Madrid is set to trigger his €20m release clause in January, and reports in Spanish paper Marca says Arrizabalaga has passed his medical at the capital club and the Basque will not let off a penny of their asking price for the shot-stopper.

The 23-year-old has yet to win a cap for his national side but is now a regular deputy to David De Gea and is excelling at club level after long-standing Athletic goalkeeper Gorka Iraizoz left for Girona.
