I am a vegetarian since January now, and I choose now to go vegan. How long does it take for me to start losing weight because of my diet? I even 16 years and excercise regularly'm still overweight. thank you!

Veganism doesn’t guarantee weight loss. Yes, it makes it easier, but there are plenty of junk foods that are vegetarian and vegan. I’m going to assume that you’re skipping the junk in favor of more healthful fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Filling up on foods filled with fiber and water (fruits and veggies) make you feel full longer and help you fight hunger.
As far as how long it takes to lose weight–that’s going to be different for each body. If it was just the lack of meat I’d be skinny–but I don’t always make the best choices, so I’m not even though I’ve been a vegetarian for 7 years.
