When Will I Start Losing Weight? Mothers Of New Baby Who Run?

(My stats before prego 5’3″ 123, currently 143) Ok, had a baby 2 1/2 months ago. I was a runner before I got pregnant and ran as long as I could. Started back running a month after she was born. I’m currently training for a half marathon. I had 40 lbs to lose after she was born and the 1st 10 lbs came off w/o me noticing. The 2nd 10 lbs took a little while longer. Now I’ve got 20 more lbs to lose and I know I’ve lost body fat b/c my body fat percentage is down 4% but my weight hasn’t changed. So I assume I’m losing fat at the same rate I’m gaining muscle but what I’m wanting to know is when will I start losing weight?
I had alot of muscle before I got pregnant. I lifted weights and ran.
And I know the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn at rest. Oh, and I eat healthy and drink plenty of water b/c I’m also breastfeeding and I know I have to stay plenty hydrated.
Would it be that my body knows i’m breastfeeding and is trying harder to hang on to the fat for the baby? And that’s why I’m having a hard time?
And another question, for any breastfeeding mothers that run also. Would the lactic acid from running get in breast milk and make my baby fussy? Like if I fed her right after a run? I usually try to run right after I feed her so then I have at least an hour to rest before she needs to eat again. But there have been times as soon as I got back from a run I had to feed her.
And stretch marks, is there anything I can do? I know i’ve heard coco butter but isn’t that just for prevention or them?

What Protein Supplements Would You Recommend?

I have just started working out again with weights. I haven’t for about 7 years now. I worked out with my dad from the time I was 15 until I was 19. I loved it and I have started back up again. The great thing is I haven’t lost my muscle. It is still there, and still pretty firm. I have lost some of my of strength though. The bad thing is I have put on some weight. I have a layer of fat over my nice firm muscles. I am wanting to get rid of the fat, but I don’t need to bulk up anymore. I just want to see the muscle tone I already have, and improve on it a bit. I bought the Weider Total Body 5000 which is awesome! I love it! I want to use a good supplement to help feed my muscles and burn up the fat. Any suggestions? Maybe a good protein shake for dinner before or after my work out?

Weights-cardio-someone Seriously Needs To Clarify A Few Things?

I’m told by one person to drink protein within half hour right AFTER a workout to feed the muscles.
And then another tells me to drink it half hour BEFORE working out.
And then im told not to drink before because we’ll just be burning off the protein rather than the fat.
And then im told to drink half hour before and after a workout. This is seriously confusing.
As for cardio-im told if i do cardio the same day as weight training to do cardio after to burn fat rather than carbs.
And then im told to do cardio first to warm up your body and to get your muscles going.
And then im told to do cardio alone one day because it will help me lose fat.
And then im told to do weights and cardio same day, but to do cardio after weights because doing cardio alone will burn fat alone with muscle as well. . .
So what the heck is it people.
