The year 2017 was quite a bright one for Super Eagles star, Wilfred Ndidi but the year 2018 could be even better going by how the midfielder started out with his club, Leicester City in the Premier League.

The Foxes, previously without a victory in their last four outings, picked up the points through second-half goals from Riyad Mahrez, Islam Slimani and Marc Albrighton.
Ndidi was in action from start to finish and it was a flawless outing for the midfielder who escaped any form of booking and he was on Twitter to celebrate the inspiring start of the year.

This New Year day result puts an end to Huddersfield’s four-match unbeaten run – their best-such streak in the top flight since 1962.
It now leaves them 11th in the table and now six points behind their opponents.
