Law360, New York (June 27, 2017, 5:34 PM EDT) — A California woman who launched a proposed class action against Vitamin Shoppe Inc. last month has dropped her claims that the company sold ineffective weight loss supplements that were misleadingly labeled, her lawyers said Monday.
In a one-sentence notice, Andrea Nathan, who filed her complaint on May 4, said she was voluntarily dismissing her individual and class claims without prejudice, but did not elaborate on the reason behind the decision.
Nathan could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday and Vitamin Shoppe declined comment.
