Marijuana seems to be a natural alternative for people who want to quit smoking tobacco. Since nicotine releases the brain’s happy chemicals known as dopamine that causes an addiction, marijuana can also arouse dopamine chemicals without causing the harmful side effects that are associated with smoking cigarettes.

Marijuana is also the best option for those seeking ways to treat their addiction to heroin, opiates, tobacco, and other drugs. Marijuana can also be helpful in curbing the smoking addiction especially if one considers reasons why people smoke. Stress and Anxiety Relief many people smoke to reduce stress and anxiety. Cannabis is known to have elements that slow down the anxiety.

Additionally, there are three proven herbs that can reduce the nicotine craving, these include; Avena Sativa (derived from wild oats), Lobelia (a toxic plant that is consumed in tiny portions to fool the body system), and Garcinia Cambogia (that combats the weight gain that comes with quitting nicotine).

Although the previous studies on the topic are essential, there’s still more to be done so as to prove whether Cannabis can help reduce the effects of nicotine for those trying to quit smoking.
