Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi is of the opinion that the La Liga Champions missed Neymar.
The Brazilian forward left for PSG in a world record fee of €222m during the summer and it was a big blow for Barcelona, according to Xavi. He told La Vanguardia: “He influenced the game.
“With him, there was no need for 30 passes to get to the goal because he passed both lines so fast that the opposing team was overwhelmed.
“It made sense to take advantage of his style of play.”
Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3-0 in the El-Clasico on Saturday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
