Music, Beats per Minute, and Exercise Output – Interesting Stuff

I was forwarded this great information on how the “Speed of the beat” of music can affect your exercise output. This is very interesting stuff when looked at compared to the kind of exercise that you do.

Not only is the music going to motivate you, but the research also shows that if you change the beat and bass of the music before, during, and after your yourkout it will also affect you.

Although we have all know this for a long time the thing that is interesting is how you can affect your workout performance at different times. I have seen a lot of athlete pre-performance rituals in the past and music is often used as a focus, Michael Phelps for instance is famous for listening to music before a swim race
