Raw Food made Easy by Jennifer Cornbleet is a nice uncook book if you want something more than a quick meal of fresh fruits & veggies.. I use it some, but mostly for “company” meals & to take to our monthly Raw Meet-up group.
MY typical day on Menus:
LOTS of fresh Water
Breakfast: Fresh Raw Fruit.. Mono meal usually(all 1 kind of fruit)
or a Green Smoothie http://www.rawfamily.com/
Lunch: Fresh Green Salad with fruit toppings
sk: Apple with raw cashews or almonds or a Green Smoothie
Dinner: Huge Salad with sunflower & pumpkin seeds. Avocado.
If I’m going to eat a cooked food it will be at this meal.
Bake sweet potato, steamed or stir fried veggies etc. If you are doing grains, cooked brown rice, pasta etc. Only eaten after you eat your salad.
Sk: Fruit.
Ideally never eating later than 7pm except for the piece of fruit.
I had to work hard on breaking the evening munchies but since I have I’m feeling much healthier & have more energy.
I do indulge in dark chocolate once in a while.
I hope this is some help.

Hi there!
A raw vegan diet can be great for weight loss, provided you need to lose weight to begin with! The wonderful thing about raw foods is that they do heal and detoxify the body, eliminating any stored toxins, water weight, and other intestinal debris, which can result in some weight loss.
But, as with any diet, it’s important that you incorporate exercise into your lifestyle to ensure long term weight loss. Find an activity you enjoy, such as walking, running, or yoga, and enjoy the activity on a daily basis while embarking on your raw journey.
As for the foods you can eat as a raw vegan, any fresh fruit, vegetables and raw, unsalted nuts and seeds can be enjoyed. Try to experiment with raw food recipes. Visit various raw food web sites, such as http://www.rawpeople.com, to learn more about raw food recipes.
The best thing about going raw is that you do not need any fancy equipment; sometimes, the best thing in the world is just a simple fruit or a crunchy salad, which requires little to no preparation!
Best of luck to you on your journey!

a raw diet can be healthy but you must know what you are doing. i would suggest investing in a dehydrator, juicer, blender, and food processor. you can eat all fruits, veggies (except ones that must be cooked at high temps.) seeds, nuts, beans, legumes, unprocessed, grains.
purchase some raw foods cookbooks. you should probably incorporate raw foods slowly into your diet. for example just eat raw for breakfast for a week. then make you snacks raw, then lunch, then dinner. good luck.

its not that healthy. i am a strict vegetarian, and im not getting proper nutrition. you have to know what you are doing. you might be able to eat spagetti w/o meat.. lots of salads.im not sure…everything i eat has cheese on it. so i cant really help you
